I liked its recently renovated and functional rooms.
Had a fine stay on this visit, everything was perfect. Booked Wheelchair Accessible room with a/c, microwave, comfortable mattress, which I really appreciated. The location was handy, a 10-15 minute walk from a restored historic library.

Decent and magnificent location in a quiet area close to a central market and an art gallery. Exceptionally comfortable bed, clean bathroom and a fridge, a microwave oven and air conditioner in the room. Fast check in and good service.

Convenient to Red Line Metro and Metro bus stops. Very close to Grand Central Market. Rooms were very affordable and I like the large shower area. Very quiet.
Desk chair was useless as entry side twin bed was too close for chair to be pulled out.

Convenient location to Disney Hall and to downtown L.A. There is also a market nearby and a fridge in the room.
Rooms were passably clean but still smelled like smoke, even the room said non-smoking. Water temperature fluctuated and sink in bathroom barely worked.

Just price...
Budget hotel, in the central area, but no shops, no bars, no restaurants nearby... Try to avoid it, unless you prefere a very convenient price.

The maintenance staff were really good, always friendly and eager to assist with my needs. The AC worked flawlessly.
The dining options could be improved for better variety.

The staff were very courteous and friendly. The location was in central downtown Los Angeles with easy access to other parts of the city. Definitely good value for money.
1. There was no in-house restaurant. This would have made my stay definitely better as the closest restaurant opens at about 8am and closes at 4pm! 2. There is no room internet service- only a desktop computer at the hotel reception
